Consul General Matthew M. Rooney speaks at the Hanukkah ceremony

U.S. Consul General Matthew M. Rooney joined Rabbi Israel Diskin of the Jewish organization Chabad Lubawitsch München at the Hanukkah Lighting Ceremony. Consul General Rooney addressed over hundred people who attended the public Menorah lighting at the Sebastiansplatz/ Jakobsplatz in Munich. Hanukkah is the Jewish Feast of Lights or Feast of Dedication and celebrated for eight days by lighting candles in a menorah every night.
