Deputy Chief of Mission Meets the Press
John Koenig and Eric Nelson


October 5, 2006.
In his first meeting with Bavarian media representatives, Deputy Chief of Mission John M. Koenig (left) welcomed ten journalists. Consul General Eric Nelson (right) hosted the briefing in the consulate. The extensive briefing touched on a broad range of bilateral and international issues. Focus of the ensuing discussion was on Afghanistan, the upcoming G-8 summit and the German EU presidency.
