Former Department of State Official Discusses U.S. Security Policy Direction
Walter Slocombe and Jürgen Chrobog

Walter Slocombe (left), former Department of State Undersecretary for Policy, visited Munich for a day of lectures and discussions of post-mid term election U.S. foreign and security policy. He met with former German State Secretary and Ambassador Jürgen Chrobog (right) and a group of media, industry and government representatives at the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt. Slocombe made clear that the presidential foreign/security policy prerogative and congressional politics will mitigate dramatic policy changes.
